Who we are

CD Howard is operated by RepPreps, LLC, the company behind CD Howard. When this policy says "we," "us," or "our," that's who we mean. You can reach us at the address and email in the Contact section below.

For visitors in the EU, UK, or other places with data protection laws, we are the data controller for cdhoward.com.

What we collect

We collect a small amount of analytics data using Vercel Analytics. This includes things like which pages you viewed, your approximate location based on your IP address, the type of device you used, and where you came from (like a Google search or a LinkedIn link).

Vercel Analytics is cookieless. It does not set cookies in your browser. It does not store your IP address. It does not build a profile of you across sites.

That is the only data we collect on cdhoward.com today.

User content

We do not collect user-generated content on this site. There are no comments, posts, profiles, or other ways for visitors to post material to our platform.

What we do not do

We don't use tracking cookies. We don't run ad pixels from Facebook, Google, LinkedIn, or anyone else. We don't sell your data. We don't share your data with marketers. We don't build advertising profiles. We don't fingerprint your device.

If that ever changes, we'll update this page and bump the date at the top before the change goes live.

What happens when you click a link to app.cdhoward.com

Some links on cdhoward.com send you to app.cdhoward.com. When you click one, we add a small tag to the link (called a "source" parameter) that tells the app which page on cdhoward.com you came from.

That tag does not include any personal information about you. It just tells us which page you clicked from so we know which pages are working.

Once you land on app.cdhoward.com, the app's privacy policy takes over. If you create an account, your name, email, and any payment info are governed by app.cdhoward.com/privacy. We don't mirror that policy here so the two don't drift out of sync. Read the app's policy if you want to know what happens after you sign up.

Your rights

You have rights over your personal data under laws like the EU General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR), the UK GDPR, the California Consumer Privacy Act (CCPA), and similar US state laws.

Those rights include:

You can also complain to your local data protection authority if you think we mishandled your data. For UK visitors, that's the Information Commissioner's Office (ICO). For EU visitors, it's the authority in your country.

"Do Not Sell or Share My Personal Information"

Under California law, you have the right to opt out of the sale or sharing of your personal information. We do not sell or share your personal information. There is nothing to opt out of. If that ever changes, we'll update this page and add a clear opt-out link.

Children

This site is for adults. We do not target children under 13 and we do not knowingly collect data from them. If you are under 13, please don't use this site. If you're a parent and you think your child gave us data, email legal@cdhoward.com and we'll delete it.

How long we keep data

Vercel Analytics data is aggregated and short-lived. We don't keep visitor-level records.

Security

We host this site on Vercel and use standard security practices. No system is perfectly secure. If we ever have a data breach that affects you, we'll notify you as required by law.

Changes to this policy

We may update this policy. When we do, we'll change the "Last updated" date at the top. If the change is significant, we'll add a clear note at the top of the page for at least 30 days. By continuing to use the site after a change, you accept the updated policy.
